Chemical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Chemical & Chromatography Sales Specialist, covering the North of the UK & Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading supplier of laboratory equipment, chemicals & consumables, and to be part of a rapidly growing company.
About the RoleThis role requires someone with a strong technical understanding of chemical and chromatography techniques, who can leverage that knowledge to sell our product range. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales and margin in their territory, providing training and guidance to the wider sales force, and working collaboratively with the chemical and chromatography sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Be the go-to person for the Chemical & Chromatography portfolio in your territory, responsible for growing sales and margin.
- Provide training, guidance and strategy to help the wider sales force grow their sales.
- Organise local marketing campaigns, assist with product/supplier launches, attend/exhibit at relevant events and provide product training to the sales team.
- Analyse sales data, identify market trends and use this information to grow the business.
- Work collaboratively with the wider chemical and chromatography sales team to help grow the business.

We have a unique approach to sourcing and supplying the highest quality, best value products and brands. Our sales organisation is formed in a matrix, where this position would work alongside existing territory sales representatives and dedicated product specialists, reporting into the General Manager for Chemicals & Chromatography.
