Field Performance Subsurface Manager

Our client, a leading independent oil and gas company, is seeking a highly skilled Field Performance Subsurface Manager to join their Development Team in Chiswick, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Ghana Field Performance Team to maximize long-term recovery from the Ghana BU fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a deep understanding of the Ghana BU fields.
  • Determine the optimum reservoir management strategy for each field in conjunction with the WRFM team.
  • Generate long-term and short-term forecasts using various methods.
  • Create a system of subsurface models to support Field Performance, Field Development, and WRFM teams.
  • Lead a team of senior reservoir engineers and geoscientists to support business processes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or greater.
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and subsurface work impact on business outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Pragmatic approach to planning and execution.
