**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent and an understanding of the needs of people with a visual impairment and dual sensory loss.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assess the needs of service users and provide/arrange services to support people with a visual impairment to maximise their independence
* Arrange for the assessment, rehabilitation services and care management of people with a visual Impairment within the framework of Council Policy and relevant legislation
* Develop and provide rehabilitation services that include orientation and mobility training, living skills training and communication skills to enable independence, choice, and dignity
**Requirements:**
* Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent
* Understanding of the needs of people with a visual impairment and dual sensory loss
