Band 7 Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Stroke Rehab team in Enfield. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality stroke rehabilitation services to patients in their own homes and local communities.
Your role will involve working closely with Generic Rehabilitation Assistants, a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our team and services.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide specialist speech and language therapy to stroke survivors and their carers in a community setting.
- To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- To act as a resource for specialist advice to other healthcare professionals within the stroke community rehabilitation service.

Requirements
- Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Postgraduate training and experience in stroke rehabilitation and dysphagia.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
