Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a Specialist Provision in Chorley. As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD, HI, SLCN, and VI, MLD, and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support within classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and class teachers.
  • Create positive relationships with pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour.
  • Support pupils with their speech, language, and communication needs.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other LSAs.
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND.
