We are seeking a compassionate and patient Educational Support Assistant to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a thriving SEN school in Chorley. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a safe and nurturing environment for students to develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them achieve their educational goals.
  • Assist with personal care when needed, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and independence.
  • Adapt to the varying needs of students, offering flexibility and understanding.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care or educational setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • A compassionate and patient attitude, with a strong desire to help others.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the school.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion for all students.
