Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect or Associate Architect to join our team. As a Senior Architect or Associate Architect, you will manage multiple projects, ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of key project documentation, handling project and contract administration, and securing necessary consents and approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement design solutions, integrating various design elements and managing internal reviews.
- Oversee commercial aspects, maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions, and implement the company's Quality Management System.
- Lead the development of project documentation, including specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and profitably.
- Provide expert advice on construction legislation, including the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles and the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- Part III Architect / Senior Architect / Associate Architect / Architect / Principal Architect or similar qualification.
- Extensive experience working in the UK, with a strong background in project control, particularly in high-risk buildings.
- Indepth knowledge of the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022, and associated regulations.
- Expertise in The RIBA Plan of Work, RIBA Job Lists, and RIBA Building Control Tracker.
- Proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and experience with document control systems following ISO 19650 protocols.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably.
- Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities.
- Registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA.
- A proactive approach to business development.
