Senior Architect Opportunity at Spot.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Spot. as a key member of our architecture design and planning firm. This role involves serving as the primary contact for specific work packages or projects, engaging in all RIBA Plan of Work stages from 0 to 7, and taking on the responsibilities of the CDM and Building Control Principal Designer (BC PD).

About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you will manage multiple projects, ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of key project documentation, handling project and contract administration, and securing necessary consents and approvals. You will lead the development of design solutions, integrate various design elements, and manage internal reviews to deliver high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will oversee commercial aspects, maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions, and implement the company's Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement design solutions, integrating various design elements.
  • Lead internal reviews and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee commercial aspects, including budgeting and cost management.
  • Maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions and implement the company's Quality Management System.
Requirements
  • Part III Architect / Senior Architect / Associate Architect / Architect / Principal Architect or similar with experience working in the UK.
  • Extensive experience with high-risk buildings and relevant construction legislation.
  • Indepth knowledge of the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022, and associated regulations.
  • Expertise in The RIBA Plan of Work, RIBA Job Lists, and RIBA Building Control Tracker.
  • Proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and experience with document control systems following ISO 19650 protocols.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities.
  • Registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA.
  • A proactive approach to business development.
