Senior Architect Opportunity at Spot

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Spot, a leading architecture, design, and planning firm based in Slough. As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in managing multiple projects, ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of key project documentation, handling project and contract administration, and securing necessary consents and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement design solutions, integrating various design elements and managing internal reviews.
  • Oversee commercial aspects, maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions, and implement the company's Quality Management System.
  • Lead the development of design solutions, integrate various design elements, and manage internal reviews to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Effective team management, identifying training needs, and contributing to business development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Part III Architect / Senior Architect / Associate Architect / Architect / Principal Architect or similar.
  • Extensive experience working in the UK and a CV / project list that demonstrates expertise in higher-risk buildings and relevant construction legislation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022, and associated regulations.
  • Expertise in The RIBA Plan of Work, RIBA Job Lists, and RIBA Building Control Tracker.
  • Proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and experience with document control systems following ISO 19650 protocols.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities.
  • Registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA.
  • A proactive approach to business development.
