Job Title: Senior Architect or Associate Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect or Associate Architect to join our team at Spot. as a Project Control Specialist. This role involves serving as the primary contact for specific work packages or projects, engaging in all RIBA Plan of Work stages from 0 to 7, and taking on the responsibilities of the CDM and Building Control Principal Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of key project documentation, handling project and contract administration, and securing necessary consents and approvals.
  • Lead the development of design solutions, integrate various design elements, and manage internal reviews to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee commercial aspects, maintain a robust audit trail for critical decisions, and implement the company's Quality Management System.
  • Effective team management, identifying training needs, and contributing to business development initiatives are also vital to this role.

Requirements:

  • Part III Architect / Senior Architect / Associate Architect / Architect / Principal Architect or similar with experience working in the UK.
  • Extensive experience with high-risk buildings and relevant construction legislation.
  • Indepth knowledge of the CDM & BC Principal Designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022, and associated regulations.
  • Expertise in The RIBA Plan of Work, RIBA Job Lists, and RIBA Building Control Tracker.
  • Proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and experience with document control systems following ISO 19650 protocols.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities.
  • Registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA.
  • A proactive approach to business development.
