Critical Care Nurse Leadership Opportunity at The Christie NHS FT

We are seeking a seasoned Critical Care Nurse to lead our team in the Accident and Emergency department at The Christie NHS FT.

Job Summary:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Critical Care team, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices and standards

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Critical Care unit, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care
  2. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies, driving quality improvement initiatives
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for Critical Care staff

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with a salary range of £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and exceptional leadership skills
