Senior Support Worker Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Senior Therapeutic Child Care Practitioner to join our team at Clarify Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Manager in the overall running of the home, ensuring compliance with legislation and organisational policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care, ensuring the home operates within National Quality Care Standards and Regulations for Children's Homes.
- Deliver a child-centred and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being of children and young people.
- Support children in meeting their health, medical, and educational needs, promoting their identity and individuality.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless provision of care and services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely submission to regulatory bodies and management.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience as a Children's Home Support Worker or Children's Home Senior Support Worker.
- A caring and empathic nature, with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Experience of supervising and mentoring staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to pass full Ofsted DBS Checks.

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
Shift pattern: 10 x 24-hour shifts (includes sleep-in) per month on a rolling rota pattern, 2 shifts one week, 3 shifts the next week.
