Business Development Specialist for Food Industry

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing team in London. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential customers, generating leads, and setting appointments for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business growth in the UK market by cultivating strong business relationships with key decision makers.
- Prospect and identify potential customers by researching and qualifying leads.
- Educate about Choco's products, addressing customer needs and pain points.
- Set up appointments for the sales team with interested prospects.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine messaging and campaigns.
- Document and maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.
Requirements:
- English fluency is mandatory.
- 1 year experience in sales development or related roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute to its transformation.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
