Job Title: Japanese Games Tester

Are you passionate about video games and fluent in Japanese? We're looking for a skilled Japanese Games Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking.

About the Role

As a Japanese Games Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance of in-game text. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report bugs, and collaborate with our QA team to ensure that our games meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and review in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
  • Identify and report bugs to the development team
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that our games meet the highest standards of quality
  • Develop and maintain test cases to ensure consistent and accurate testing
  • Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure effective testing and support
Requirements
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to testing and quality assurance
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database handling
