Job Title: English Game Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented English Game Tester to join our team at Test Dev Tools.

About the Role:

As an English Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the linguistic accuracy and correctness of in-game text, as well as its accordance to cultural rules. You will work closely with developers to ensure Localisation QA effectively tests and supports all features of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness.
  • Use a variety of industry standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports.
  • Own, manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle.
  • Actively participate in test requirement gathering with developers.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Korean.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Focus on quality and keen eye for detail.
  • Good computer skills, including word processing, database handling, and record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Experience with software tools in use for LQA testing.
  • Knowledge of the video game industry and trends.
