Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of employment law and HR best practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law and HR, with experience of working in a unionized environment and building relationships with staff side representatives. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely data entry into various systems and spreadsheets, and will be held accountable for your performance and the performance of your area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of employment law and HR best practice
  • Assist and advise managers on employee relations issues, including terms and conditions of employment and Trust policies and procedures
  • Enter accurate and timely data into various systems and spreadsheets
  • Hold responsibility for your performance and the performance of your area
Requirements
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • CIPD Associate Membership (Level 5)
  • Committed to continuous professional development
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and best practice in employment
  • Proven ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all grades of staff both verbally and in writing
