We are looking for a talented Senior Vehicle Performance Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our racing cars. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vehicle dynamics or racing car performance, with experience in system mathematical modelling and analysis.

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including bonuses, health insurance, and year-round health and wellbeing programs.

Job Description

The Senior Vehicle Performance Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing racing car performance, working closely with the design and aerodynamics teams. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Model Development: Develop core vehicle dynamics systems using in-house modelling language, ensuring accurate model behavior and correlation with track and subsystem rig test data.
  • Simulation Infrastructure: Work with simulation tools and infrastructure to develop and optimize racing car performance.
  • Physical Testing: Coordinate and conduct physical tests at component and full car scale, including lap simulation and race car setup analysis.
