Revenue Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Manager to join our team at The Gantry London – Curio Collection by Hilton. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue through effective revenue management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to guide pricing and yield management decisions.
  • Evaluate hotel performance metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share reports.
  • Prepare and present revenue management reports to senior management, owners, and asset managers.
  • Adjust room rates based on market conditions and demand forecasts to optimize revenue.
  • Oversee the implementation of promotions and packages to boost demand during low periods.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, events, and operations teams to align revenue management strategies with overall hotel objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the in-house Reservations team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide training to ensure team members' professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a revenue management role with a similar size and quality hotel.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Proficiency with revenue management systems with a strong preference for exposure to Hilton systems such as OnQ, OnQ R&I, and Grow.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
