About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safeguarding Specialist Nurse to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Adult Eating Disorders Service, you will play a vital role in improving access and quality of care for individuals with eating disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gate-keep referrals into the Adult Eating Disorders Service, providing advice and support as needed.
  • Ensure effective assessment, care planning, and review of patient care and treatment in line with EPUT CPA policy and procedure.
  • Liaise with the provider collaborative regarding specialist out-of-area eating disorder placements and inpatient providers.

Person Specification
  • RMN or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Qualification at degree level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
  • Evidence of training and using an evidence-based NICE guideline intervention in clinical practice for Eating Disorders.
