Nursery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant in Bristol.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to our qualified Nursery Nurses, assisting with daily tasks and contributing to the overall care and education of young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the lead practitioner in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Engage with children in activities, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Assist with mealtime routines, ensuring children's dietary needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents regarding children's progress and needs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably with a Level 3 qualification.
  • Basic food hygiene and first aid certification (desirable).
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary between £20,000 and £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Security Clearance:

Candidates will undergo standard employment checks, including DBS clearance.
