We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team at Davies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with clients to resolve claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage a caseload of motor claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Maintain accurate data on relevant case management systems
- Comply with set client SLAs and ensure quality service standards are met
- Allocate new claims and develop strategies for resolution
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
- Attend client review meetings and contribute to client project work
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service
- Minimum 5 years' experience in claims handling, preferably in commercial motor claims
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
- Supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential
