About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Supervising Social Worker to join Polaris Community's team in the West Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in recruiting, training, assessing, supporting, and supervising foster carers to provide the best possible outcomes for looked-after children.

We are committed to providing exceptional support to our children, foster carers, and staff team, which is reflected in our outstanding inspection rating. As a Supervising Social Worker or Senior Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with foster carers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assessing and managing risks associated with foster placements.

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with a current HCPC registration and recent experience in fostering and services for children. A competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, including a car allowance or company car, excellent benefits, and a full-time, permanent role that is home-based are on offer.
