Job Title: Children's Services Senior Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Learning Improvement Service (LIS) team, who are dedicated to championing excellence for every child and young person in Cumbria. As a Children's Services Senior Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the statutory educational rights of children and young people are met, and that all schools and settings receive the support and challenge they need to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve educational outcomes for children and young people
  • Work closely with schools, settings, and partners to ensure effective support and challenge
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory duties
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers to develop their skills and expertise
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure a cohesive approach to education and SEND
