The Role: Senior Residential Support Worker

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our children. You will provide guidance, mentorship, and emotional support, helping them develop essential life skills and build resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Create a positive and structured living environment that promotes growth and development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, and social workers, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

We seek individuals who are passionate about working with children and possess the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
  • Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting, preferably with children facing behavioral challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
