Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Community

We are seeking an experienced Children's Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Training Specialist. As a key member of our clinical directorate, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the clinical skills of healthcare teams & professionals working in paediatric care.

  • Develop and Deliver Training: Design and deliver educational sessions on paediatric care for non-clinical staff (carers, support workers, family members) to ensure safety and competency in delegated tasks.
  • Competency Sign Off: Provide clinical competency sign-offs for all trained tasks required in the support package, enhancing their practical skills in paediatrics.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Essential Qualifications: A recognised NMC qualification that allows you to work with children and young people, a full UK driving licence, 5-year experience of working in a clinical setting, excellent communication skills, and experience of delivering training.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient care through education and collaboration with our clinical director to ensure high standards of paediatric practice. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum plus expenses and bonus.
