About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Community Corrections Officer to join our team at HM Prison & Probation Service.


The primary responsibility of this role is to work with medium and lower-risk clients, assessing and managing risks, providing information to courts, and collaborating closely with agencies throughout the justice system.


This position involves providing practical advice on housing and employment, as well as listening to and supporting offenders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who have social or personal difficulties, be empathetic, patient, and resilient, and possess good writing skills.


As a Community Corrections Officer, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of offenders and the protection of the public.


Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Assess and manage risks associated with clients
  • Provide information to courts and collaborate with agencies
  • Offer practical advice on housing and employment
  • Listen and support offenders

Requirements:
