Volunteer Opportunity: Library of Things Support Worker

The Reuse Network seeks a motivated individual to join our team as a Library Volunteer in the Library of Things department.

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Welcome customers to the Library of Things and provide excellent customer service.
  2. Assist with queries regarding item availability and functionality.
  3. Manage the inventory system, checking items in and out and maintaining accurate records.
  4. Oversee the maintenance schedule for existing items, ensuring they remain in good condition.
  5. Maintain a tidy stock area, ready for use by customers.
Requirements:
  1. Pleasant demeanor and strong communication skills.
  2. Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  3. Polite, friendly, and positive attitude, reflecting the values of the Reuse Network.
  4. Honest, trustworthy, and dependable, with a commitment to upholding high standards.
  5. Passionate about the environmental impact of the Library of Things on the community and environment.
Salary Range: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
