Environmental Volunteer Opportunity

Are you passionate about reducing waste and living more sustainably? We have an exciting opportunity for a volunteer to join our team at the Reuse Centre in Chepstow Road.

This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a reuse and recycling environment, as well as develop your skills in customer service and teamwork.

The estimated salary for this role is £9-£12 per hour, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Welcome customers to the Library of Things and assist them with any queries
  2. Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library
  3. Assist with updating the inventory system and managing the maintenance schedule for existing items

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude towards reducing waste and promoting sustainability
