Accounts Senior Role Overview

This challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Accounts Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Ringwood. As an experienced accounting professional, you will play a key role in providing high-quality Accounting and Tax compliance services to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing statutory and management accounts, as well as tax compliance. You will also be responsible for managing and supervising the work of more junior staff, reviewing accounts, and acting as a point of reference for complex issues.

We are seeking a qualified accountant with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Experience of working with accounting software packages and business advisory work is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts
  • Tax compliance and bookkeeping services
  • Managing and supervising junior staff
  • Reviewing accounts and resolving complex issues

Requirements:

  • ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
  • AAT Qualified or QBE
  • Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards

Salary: Circa £33,000 - £39,000 (dependent on experience)
