The Triage and Early Interventions Officer will play a vital role in providing support to victims of crime in Cumbria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, assessing needs, and providing information and referrals to those affected by crime.
Key Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls and provide support to victims of crime
- Assess needs and risks, and develop action plans to support victims
- Work on our case management system to allocate cases, provide administration, and ensure data quality
- Liaise with other agencies to gather information, provide referrals, or offer signposting
- Contribute to the development of an effective, trauma-informed service for victims of crime
- Confident and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a caseload
- Proficient in using IT systems, including case management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of the needs of victims of crime and the importance of trauma-informed support
