Primary School Intervention Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intervention Teacher to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Preston. As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing targeted support to students across various age groups, enhancing their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality intervention sessions tailored to the needs of individual students and small groups.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students requiring additional support and develop intervention plans.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.
  • Maintain detailed records of interventions and progress, informing future teaching and learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different age groups.
