Volunteer and Community Development Leader

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer and Community Development Leader to join our team at the National Trust.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Morden Hall Park strategic plan for volunteering and communities.
This involves building relationships with existing and potential new partners and community groups, increasing the confidence and capability of our volunteer managers, and creating a positive, flexible, and inclusive environment for volunteers and local communities.
You will also be responsible for managing the volunteer network, ensuring people have a voice and an opportunity to share skills, and helping to write funding applications for projects and produce bid responses.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding and good practice of volunteer management
- Understanding of good practice in community engagement and involvement
- Practical and successful experience of developing and implementing new products and approaches to volunteers
- Excellent organisational and planning skills

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
