About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Coordinator to join our team. As an Early Help Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that families who are referred into EHASH receive effective and timely responses from a range of services.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and understanding of services available to support vulnerable children, young people, and families. They will also have experience of working with families with complex needs and be able to complete assessments, such as Early Help assessments and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing triage/screening and information gathering processes within set timescales
- Contacting parents/carers and significant others, children and young people, and professionals, completing home visits as required
- Gathering key information alongside providing advice and information on a wide range of identified needs
- Ensuring timely referrals take place to Children's Social Care or Early Help services
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field, such as social work or a related subject
- Experience of working with families with complex needs
- Ability to complete assessments and provide advice and information
- Sound knowledge and understanding of services available to support vulnerable children, young people, and families
