Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of site teams, including laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide training and guidance to site staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site management, construction project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid at Work certificate and LOLER certificate.
- NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.
