ZipRecruiter is seeking an experienced Automation Site Engineer to support the design, installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems in Cambridge, MA. The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000-$100,000 per year.

Responsibilities

The Automation Site Engineer will be responsible for:

Design and Installation:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of building automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.

The Automation Site Engineer will work closely with the engineering team to design and implement building automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations, and conducting site visits to monitor progress.

Programming and Troubleshooting:
  • Develop customized programs and scripts for building automation systems.
  • Perform system diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot programming issues.

The Automation Site Engineer will also be responsible for developing customized programs and scripts, performing system diagnostics, and conducting periodic inspections, testing, and calibration of building automation systems.

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Help maintain detailed documentation of all projects.
  • Generate reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvements.
