Skillful Industrial Engineer Needed

We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Developer to join our team as an Apprentice C&I Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industrial control systems and develop your skills in PLC/SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with communication protocols such as Profibus and Modbus, as well as knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. If you have a strong background in the power or renewable energy sector, this could be the perfect role for you.

This contract is estimated to pay around £45 per hour (outside IR35), and immediate starts are available. The location is Cambridge, which offers a great balance of city life and access to the countryside.

Please see below for the essential skillset required for this role:

  • Develop and modify software for industrial control systems
  • Experience working with PLC/SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Knowledge and application of Industry standards and safety regulations (IEC 61508, CEFS)
  • Experience with communication protocols e.g Profibus and Modbus
  • Vast knowledge in power or the renewable energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of DSEAR Requirements within Hazardous Areas (COMPEX 01-04)
