Haven Care Group Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker in our Children's Residential Home in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for young people to thrive.

About the Job:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide support and guidance to Young People, enabling them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential. This includes working closely with Young People to meet their physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs. Additionally, you will be required to attend to Young People's practical, physical, and emotional needs, acting as an appropriate role model. You will also be responsible for establishing positive relationships with young people, offering unconditional and positive regard. By challenging unacceptable behaviour and rewarding acceptable, pro-social conduct, you will help young people gain self-control.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation package for this role includes a highly competitive salary of £12.00 to £13.50 per hour, plus £60 per sleep-in shift. In addition, you will have access to funded QCF Leadership & Management diploma qualifications in Residential Child Care, industry-leading Management Development Programme (MDP) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Furthermore, you will be eligible for our Employee of the Month Scheme, Length of Service Holiday Scheme – Awarding up to an additional 5 days paid leave per year with continued service, above Statutory Entitlement and Refer a Friend Scheme, offering £150 for every person you successfully recommend to work with HCG.

Requirements:
A key requirement for this role is a kind, caring and compassionate nature, with a fair but firm approach. Formal or informal experience of supporting Young People who may live with a Learning Disability or are Neuro-Diverse is essential. A recognised qualification in Residential Child Care at Level 3 / 4 or ability and willingness to work towards achieving within a set time frame is also necessary. Full UK Manual Driving Licence and ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight are required.
