Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our expanding team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of care for our customers in various settings, including residential homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and specialist units.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with personal care tasks, including dressing, meal support, and personal hygiene needs.
- Support customers to maintain their dignity and independence, taking into account their care needs and personal preferences.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant within the last 5 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- A strong sense of compassion and empathy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care services.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and nights, as required.
- Enhanced DBS check and driving license (not essential).
