Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this Senior Consultant role is to provide high-level advisory and consultative support to UK customers for NTT Data Business Solutions. This role involves analyzing, configuring, and implementing solutions with the support of the Functional and Development Consultants when applicable.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Deliver 2nd and 3rd-line advisory and consultative support to the UK customer install base for NTT Data Business Solutions.
  2. Analyze and configure appropriate solutions with the support of the Functional and Development Consultants when applicable.
  3. Communicate confidently with customers and Service Delivery Managers, keeping all parties informed of progress on deliverables.
  4. Perform peer reviews of proposed and delivered solutions.
  5. Use initiative to look for solutions and opportunities, providing estimates in a timely manner and communicating deliverable status to stakeholders.
  6. Test and document new solutions prior to assigning them to customers for end-user testing.
  7. Understand business processes and arrange tasks and workload accordingly, accepting responsibility for quality and productivity, as well as utilization rate.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP ECC and S4.
  • Expertise in Sales and Distribution (SD) with specific knowledge in Rebates and Condition Contracts, Inter-company process, Pricing Advanced ATP and backorder processing, International Trade, and Plants abroad.
  • Cross-functional knowledge across FICO/MM/PP/WM.
  • Functional understanding of sales-related IDocs and setup.
  • Excellent design, configuration, and testing skills for specific core functional modules.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Documentation skills, including functional specifications and test scripts.
  • Ability to work within a remote consulting support team for contracted customers using the NTT Data Business Solutions service management systems and processes and delivering within defined SLAs or requested dates.
  • Strong ability to understand business processes and design appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for working with the functional and customer teams.
  • Track record of full project lifecycle and development activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
  • Project-related activities, such as data migration, user support, and end-user training.
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to take on unknown SAP processes.
  • Ability to act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide end-to-end business solutions.
  • Proven experience in a combined customer service handling/functional support role.
  • Ensure consistent high-level customer satisfaction with quality solutions/services.
  • Travel will be a maximum of 25%.
