Job Summary

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Continuous Improvement team as an Associate, Business Process Improvements/Best Practice. This role will be responsible for driving process improvements and automation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements and automation solutions using robotics programming and other technologies.
  • Manage and deliver automated processes from initial investigation to development and testing.
  • Prepare and analyze data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including action logs, RAID logs, benefits quantification, and project plans.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members on process improvement and automation techniques.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings to a professional standard.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply robotics coding languages.
  • Experience with project management and administration.
  • Proven ability to clearly and concisely articulate information, issues, and solutions to peers and managers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with process mapping and analysis.
  • Desirable: experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or other similar software.
