Community Listening and Research Facilitator

About the Job
Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum is recruiting a Community Outreach Coordinator to support our Mental Health Research Engagement Network (REN) in Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.
As a key member of our team, you will engage with local communities, gather information and stories, and provide insights to inform research studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, researchers, and the VCSE Sector.
- Conduct community engagement activities for a minimum of 2 hours per month across the programme delivery timeframe.
- Collaborate with researchers to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
Requirements:
- Ability to make individuals feel heard and valued in their experiences.
- Possession of valuable life lessons through personal or professional experience of mental ill health.
- Strong passion for empowering communities to influence local mental health research studies.
