Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Blood Production Officer. As a key member of our blood processing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of blood donations.

Responsibilities:

* Process and issue blood donations to hospitals, working closely with our supervisor and other team members
* Provide support and training to less experienced staff
* Perform precise and repetitive manipulation of equipment and blood samples/donations
* Handle blood bags and a range of equipment
* Work variable hours and days, including weekends and bank holidays, as per the roster

Requirements:

* A level 3 qualification, such as A levels or a national diploma in a relevant subject area, or extensive experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment
* Experience working with information technology, such as Microsoft Office
* Ability to work in a regulated environment and follow strict documented procedures
