Dunbar Education seeks an experienced SEN Learning Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a primary-aged child with additional needs in a Telford primary school.
This rewarding role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping children thrive in an inclusive educational setting.
- Deliver tailored support to the child, assisting with their learning, social interaction, and overall well-being.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for the child, enabling them to access the curriculum.
- Monitor and report on the child's progress, supporting any required adjustments to ensure their development.
- Experience working with children with additional needs, preferably in a school setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability to meet the child's needs effectively.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- SEN-specific training or qualifications.
- Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with various needs, such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties.
