About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution in Staffordshire. As a Podiatrist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex and chronic conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and MSK pathologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based care to patients, listening to their feedback and acting on it to personalise their care.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list, working as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Forge strong working relationships with the healthcare team and the wider Health in Justice Service.

Person Specification

  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting.
