Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our bank team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution located in Staffordshire. As a Podiatrist with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, helping to rehabilitate and support offenders to live purposeful lives as members of the community.

Main Duties

This role requires the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the offender healthcare setting who may have complex and/or chronic presentation. You will need to determine clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

With this in mind, you will be HCPC registered with post-registration experience assessing and treating a range of conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery. You will also be self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
