Job Overview

Sodexo Live is seeking a highly skilled Event Sales Coordinator to join our team at American Express Stadium. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling the full planning and coordination of events from booking to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Sales and Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets and provide customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, identifying opportunities to increase their commitment and loyalty.
  • Sales Enquiries and Bookings: Manage sales enquiries through our CRM system and venue client bookings inbox, ensuring timely and efficient communication with customers.
  • Contract and Invoice Management: Prepare and issue contracts and invoices for all sales in line with our company standards.
  • Debt Management: Manage debt through collecting payments in a timely manner, ensuring minimal outstanding balances.
  • CRM Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, logging all enquiries and cleansing data to ensure accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering all incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Market Knowledge: Understand the local and national market to sell effectively against the competition from both the venue and catering perspective.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist with entertaining, sales missions, networking, and exhibitions, acting as an ambassador for both Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events and the venue client.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records on current key clients and prospects through the CRM system.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve personal KPIs to be agreed with your Line Manager.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in an Events Sales and Planning role, with a strong understanding of the local market.
  • Research and Negotiation Skills: Excellent researcher, negotiator, and client-focused approach, with strong business relationship building skills and understanding of customer needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable sales targets.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise various job demands.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills, with a detail-focused approach and strong event coordination skills.
