The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our agile team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This will involve working closely with our development team to design and implement testing strategies, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Conduct manual testing to identify and report defects.
  • Work with the development team to resolve defects and improve the overall quality of our software products.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a diverse test data repository to ensure comprehensive testing.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in manual QA/testing role within an agile, commercial software environment.
  • Experience in a programming language: C++, C# or Python.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop automated testing techniques.
  • Experience in agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and TDD/BDD principles.
  • Organizing user acceptance testing activities across multiple sites.
  • Collecting, analyzing and presenting UAT & manual testing results.
  • Analyzing business and software workflows and gaps in existing test coverage.
  • Working with development teams to assess manual testing requirements.
  • Manual testing of legacy systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with testing complex 3D visualization software.
  • Experience testing with Ranorex.
