Designing with the User in Mind.

As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager, you will have the chance to work with either our Hybrid Cloud Services team, focusing on the development of cloud-based tools, or our Retirement Digital team, which aims to modernize comprehensive services that ensure citizens over state pension age have the necessary digital resources to live without undue hardship. You will manage projects that are part of Europe's largest digital transformation, impacting how millions of citizens navigate, request, and utilize essential DWP services.

We seek enthusiastic Agile Delivery Managers who are comfortable collaborating with Product Managers and technical and data experts, engaging in a diverse range of activities aimed at enhancing citizen experience.

You will be a trusted member of our multidisciplinary Agile team, contributing your insights and expertise to projects while learning from others within the project delivery and broader digital communities at DWP.

Your Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering software within an agile framework across multiple phases.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Ability to foster a culture of psychological safety within teams, effectively managing team dynamics.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members, while taking ownership of your own professional growth.
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities with a history of inspiring high-performing teams.

Position Details, Compensation, and Benefits.

You will have the flexibility to choose from one of our dynamic digital hubs, allowing you to work in a location that suits you best.

We provide all the necessary tools and technology to facilitate flexible working arrangements, operating under a hybrid work model.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £63,517 per annum.

Additionally, a Digital Allowance of up to £12,231 per annum is available for outstanding candidates, based on our evaluation of your skills and experience.

As part of our team, you will benefit from a generous civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.9%, valued at up to £18,356 annually.

Our leave package starts at 26 days, increasing to 31 days over time, along with all standard bank holidays and the option to take up to 3 additional days off each month through flexi leave.
