About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Penspen Ltd as a Support and Testing Engineer, where you will play a key role in developing engineering assessments and ensuring the quality of our cloud-based engineering platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust test plans to ensure QA/QC compliance of new and existing features.
  • Assist the team in ongoing support ticket resolution with existing clients.
  • Develop and execute test cases using Azure Testing suite within Azure DevOps environment.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and regression testing.
  • Monitor and track resolution of issues using JIRA system.
  • Identify and document bugs using Azure DevOps.
  • Write and present short reports that describe methodology, define input data, summarize results, or correctly document requirements for remediation of support tickets.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in testing software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of User Acceptance and regression testing.
  • Knowledge in technical writing for writing test plans and reports.
  • Basic understanding of Agile and Azure DevOps.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Python, Angular, Typescript & HTML/CSS.
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Exposure and appreciation of mechanical engineering concepts and the Oil & Gas Industry are considered as advantages.
