Logistic Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Support Worker to join our team at our Hengoed location. As a Logistic Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load vehicles manually and with logistic equipment
  • Movement and control of production materials within the manufacturing department
  • Receive and locate stock using the warehouse data system
  • Inspect incoming stock for defects and damages
  • Complete relevant paperwork accurately
  • Use of scanning system and bay control
  • PIP Checks and weekly/monthly/year-end stock checking
  • Proactive approach to minimizing unnecessary wastage
  • Use of Sandes/Dejwint and Microsoft
  • Ensure safety checks are completed and signed
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehousing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to work to deadlines
  • Flexible work attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on own initiative
